Trigirl Sprint Tri

Congratulations to Katherine Barron and her sister, Hannah, for placing 1st and 2nd in their 15-19 age group at the Trigirl Sprint Tri held on Sunday, May 13.  Finish Strong's Katherine Barron finished in 45:52 coming in 7th overall.  Hannah was next to cross the finish line in and took 8th overall. Mom Caroline celebrated Mother's Day by cheering on her daughters!  Caroline is gearing up for Ironman Texas in just 4 short days!

Wildflower Triathlon

Finish Strong Racing's Winston Cervantes recently competed in the 30th Annual Wildflower Triathlon in Lake San Antonio, CA.  His time overall was 6:30:20.  He had an impressive PR swim time in 41:08, a solid bike in 3:09:47, followed by a 2:31:49 run.   Winston said, "It is checked off my bucket list of races to do. The bike and run courses were very hilly so I got intimidated with names like Nasty Grade, Nasty Grade's Little Bro, Transition Hill, etc. but the overall atmosphere in the camp/race sites were great and the coed volunteers were partying while cheering. Clothes were optional."  So, that explains the big smile on his face!

Congrats, Winston!
