Skip Moschell, and his son, Kevin, recently took on the Bike Tour of Colorado. Their week of cycling covered over 470 miles including 5 spectacular passes, a venture into New Mexico, and Blue Mesa Reservoir.
Skip reports, "It was one of the hardest things my son Kevin & I have ever done, but also the most amazing. The sights were spectacular & we enjoyed the time together before he starts college in the Fall. For Houstonians, we did good on the climbs, but 4,000 foot climbs with 10% grades to 12,000 were a challenge. The steep fast downhills were pretty scary too. "
