Nora Wilson finished 2nd out of 33 women in the 55-59 AG. (pictured below)
And Jan Kaiser finished in 39:18. Great job.
Nora reports, "The Run Wild 5K race starts and ends in Uptown Park, off the
I-610 loop. It's a very pretty course that winds around the fringe of the
attractive Tanglewood neighborhood, offering occasional shade from mature trees
on a hot and humid summer day. The race is always a good one,
benefiting Special Olympics Texas. The 5K starts at 7:30 and the kids'
race is at 8:30. After the race, runners were treated to door prizes,
music, breakfast tacos catered by McCormick & Schmick's, Michelob Ultra,
Katz Coffee, etc."
